‘Your moment, your story.’ Campaign Terms & Conditions
The promoter is Ningaloo Whale Shark Swim ABN 31 082 971 024, Shop 4/1 Kennedy St, Exmouth WA 6707 (“Promoter”).
- Eligibility
- Entry is open to anyone 18 years and over.
- Entrants must be capable of meeting the health and safety requirements of the tour experience.
- Entrants must have been on tour with us in 2026. Proof of that must be in the waiver.
- Entry Requirements
To be considered, participants must:
- Capture original photo or video content during their tour;
- Post to Instagram during campaign period;
- Tag @Ningaloowhalesharkswim
- Use the hashtag #yourNWSstory
All entries must be genuine moments captured during the tour. AI-generated or digitally fabricated content is not permitted. We’re looking for real experiences, seen through your eyes.
- Campaign Period
The campaign runs between the March and October 2026 season. Entries submitted outside this period will not be eligible.
- Major Recognition
One standout entry will be selected by the Promoter based on creativity, authenticity, storytelling and alignment with the campaign theme.
The selected participant will receive:
- Return flights from Perth to Exmouth*
- Full day on Seazone with our team so you capture the journey as it unfolds on the Ningaloo
- Receive a professionally printed photograph of your choice from your day
- Time with Brad Norman, founder of ECOCEAN^ to hear about his work to protect the majestic whale sharks.
- Major Recognition Conditions
The prize is subject to the following conditions:
*Flights
- Flights are subject to airline availability and fare conditions and must fall in the months between March – April or August – October.
- Flights are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Tour Experience
- Participation is subject to seasonal availability and must occur during March – April or August – October.
- The tour is subject to weather conditions and operational factors.
The Promoter reserves the right to reschedule, modify, substitute or cancel the tour if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
ECOCEAN Engagement
- Any meeting is subject to Brad Norman’s availability and may be held in person or online or with another team member from ECOCEAN. This engagement may occur on a different day to the tour experience.
Health & Safety Requirements
- The winner must meet all health and safety requirements as outlined in the Promoter’s standard booking terms and conditions.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation if the winner does not meet safety or medical requirements, with no compensation payable.
- The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Runner-Up recognition
The runner-up will receive:
- One professionally framed image;
- Size up to 59.4cmx84.1cm;
- Valued up to $800;
- Shipping included within Australia. The extra cost to ship internationally is at the cost to the winner.
- Delivery timeframes may vary.
- Content Licence
By participating, entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes with credit where reasonably practicable.
- Acceptable Content & Conduct
Promoter reserves the right to moderate, remove or report any content submitted in connection with this campaign.
Promoter will not tolerate content that is:
- Violent, obscene, profane, hateful, racist, derogatory, fraudulent, manipulative, illegal or otherwise offensive;
- Threatening, defamatory, or harmful to any person or organisation;
- Misleading, deceptive, inaccurate or false;
- Repetitive, spam-like or off-topic;
- Infringing on the rights of others, including the use of content without legally valid consent;
- Otherwise inappropriate or harmful to individuals, the community or the brand, as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
- Liability
The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the campaign. Participation in the tour is subject to the Promoter’s standard booking terms and waiver.
