Once in a lifetime trip
We did a lot of research into this thinking it would be our once in a lifetime trip. But no, we will be back! The team at Ningaloo Whaleshark Swim was amazing. Abbi and Shahn picked us up with the bus at our accommodation, and along with approx 12 others, we got a very informative trip out to the boat, met up with some more participants there and then we were off. The team of Abbi, Shahn, Jordan, Tony, Liv, Bec, and Ariel gave us full safety briefings, kitted everyone up, and made sure we were aware of what we could expect. We had a practice snorkelling, seeing turtles and rays and a plethora of sealife with excellent visibility. This gave everyone the opportunity to make sure they were comfortable with their gear and in the water and knew what was expected of them. We had a short trip out to where we hoped the Whale Sharks would be and were lucky enough to see a baby white whale that was very rare, and even the crew was super excited. What we then got to experience then while snorkelling was a highlight of my 30+ years of scuba diving/snorkelling experiences. Justin up in the spotter plane directed us to a WhaleShark where we got to spend the next hour in and out of the water along side the most beautiful big shark. Shahn did an amazing job making sure everyone who had purchased the photo package got “the photo,” and when we got the photos emailed later that evening we were so pleasantly surprised she had so many great photos of everything we had seen during the day. It’s so good to have now to look back at. The day was safe, fun, informative, and very respectful.

60th Birthday Party Celebration
What an incredible day we had yesterday to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. Firstly the crew are an amazing bunch of professionals, Jordan the skipper, Cousin Pete the decky, Jazz the photographer/bus driver, Rommie our superb group one snorkeling guide/ bus commentator, Sian the group two guide and the 2 volunteers. The day started with our pick up in Exmouth and we travelled to the boat ramp for our tender to the main boat. The wind eased and the water glassed off and the sun came out. We had an easy morning snorkel on the inner reef to make sure all the gear fitted and worked before the main event, Whalesharks. Within minutes of hitting the outer reef we got the call that the spotter plane had their eyes on a Whaleshark, get ready to go, go go!!!! Jordan positioned the boat in the perfect position for us to enter the water and Cousin Pete organising the entry into the water. With Rommie in the water we were lined up and there was this magnificent Whaleshark right in front of us, this happened 5 times during the morning. Not only did we get to swim with Whalesharks there were numerous Humpback whales breaching and preforming tail slaps. We saw a pod of dolphins feeding close to the boat and a turtle cruising by. We had a second inner reef snorkel which was nice as well, lots of coral, fish and a turtle. The food during the day was fresh and delicious and the champagne and birthday song for my wife topped off the day perfectly. We would recommend Ningaloo Whaleshark tours to anybody heading this way. What an Amazing Experience
I have had my fair share of experiences with charter boats, and this company was by far the best charter I have ever been on. The professionalism, friendliness, organization, and kindness of the team were beyond expectations. From the initial morning shuttle pick-up right through to the end of the journey, the team made sure that you experienced the best day possible. The vessel was extremely organized, clean, and the food provided throughout the day was well-executed and catered to all types of dietary requirements. Great quality full wetsuits and snorkels were provided, with complementary advice for beginners. The organization between the plane spotter, the boat skipper, and the staff in the water was absolutely spot-on to ensure you got in the perfect lane, aligning and swimming alongside the whalesharks. DO NOT SKIP THE PHOTO PACKAGE ADD ON it is well worth it; the most beautiful professional photo shot! I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

An Unforgettable Experience
The tour was meticulously planned with exceptional attention to detail. I would like to make special mention of the crew’s handling of dietary requirements – they ensured that there was no cross contamination for those will allergies. The food was also delicious – the vegan in our group was impressed with the options available. The whale shark swimming was exceptional. We saw many sharks and were provided with ample opportunities to swim and take photos. The crew’s coordination of the swimming deserves a special mention as well and a big shout out to the spotter plane pilot (who’s name was apparently Broccoli 😆). Jazzy’ photography was beautiful and we spent many happy hours after the tour browsing the photos. A very big thank you to the crew: Davy, Pete, Jazzy, Sian (spelling?🙃), and Romi. Their enthusiasm and passion is noticeable and definitely made this a stand out tour.

Humpback Whale Interaction Tours
We had an incredible time and I would massively recommend this trip with this company!
We did the Humpback swim in September. We had an incredible time and I would massively recommend this trip with this company. The snorkelling points they take you to are great, we saw huge turtles, sharks and loads of fish. They have a spotter plane linked to them only who spends the day looking from above. They quickly found us a humpback to swim with which was an incredible experience. They were very efficient at getting everyone in the water and in position for the whale and were on standby to help if you were struggling to keep up. We were lucky, and they then had spotted a Whale shark, so we spent time with this also. I then tried my first ever Scuba Dive with one of their instructors. I was a bit nervous about attempting this, but Jordan and Kieran were great at explaining it to me and guiding me through it – I had a great time and felt safe and comfortable the whole way. Overall, can’t believe how much we packed into one day. All crew members were fantastic. Food was good too!

My partner and I did the Humpback Whale tour today and I rate it 11/10. It was such an amazing day out on the water. We saw so much wildlife it was incredible. The snorkelling in the reef as a warm up was amazing. The boat ride to the whales was beautiful with whales breaching everywhere. The team did a great job of trying to find whales to swim with and we eventually got to swim with one. But the extra opportunity, to swim with a whale shark when the spotter plane spotted it, was the icing on the cake. The crew was super enthusiastic and friendly, the food was great, and a special shout out to Pete, making sure we didn’t miss the whale. I highly recommend the trip and we are already planning to come back.
