What to do & see
Town Centre and Town Beach
All the essential shops, restaurants and cafes are located in the town centre on Maidstone Crescent, with some shops and restaurants also located along Murat Road, the main road leading into town from the North West Highway.

Nearest beach to Exmouth and located in the gulf. Four wheel drive access. Free BBQ facilities. Enjoy a swim or launch your boat. Marvel at the size of the VFL towers from up close.
Vlamingh Head Lighthouse
Watch the sunset or watch for Humpback Whales. July – November.

Surfers Beach - “Dunes”
A popular beach to catch a wave or watch from shaded decking.
SS ‘Mildura’ Wreck
1907 Cattle ship wreck visible from the shore. Be advised strong caution is advised if snorkelling due to current, waves and shallowness of the wreck.
Jurabi Turtle Centre
Information about turtles of the Ningaloo, and a common place to see them nesting and hatching. Mating/nesting season November – March
